A Busy book(s) is a collection of interactive learning activity sheets. It contains colorful visuals to capture the child’s attention. Busy books are hands-on and mess-free for children to explore and solve activities. They help in learning the basics and promote the development of literacy and numeracy skills (toddlers). Busy books also keepchildren engaged and busy for a long time – hence the name busy book or busy binder.
It also contains complex or advanced topics for older children to boost their learning. Some pages have write-n-wipe activities. A dry eraser marker is used to write which then can be easily wiped with a tissue or dry eraser.
The learning pages are laminated and velcro is used to match, sort or solve the activities – this is what makes it hands-on and interactive. The pages are either bound to make a busy book or inserted in a binder to make a busy binder. The Busy binder activities are reusable (because of lamination) and thus last for a very long time.
The busy binders can be based on age, subject, topic, theme, seasons and even holidays.
